The answer is BOTH! My next commission is to turn this badass Rodney Raines tattoo into a kick ass Mary Kenyon quilt! Im so fired up for this one, its been in the works for a while. Put your seat belts on ladies its gonna be a wild ride! I'm ready to take this baby over the top!!!
Awesome, cant wait to see what you do with it. My son is a tattoo artist, he and I have talked several times about my taking one of his tatts and making a quilt from it. Honestly havent had the time to do this, busy working on my other new patterns, but you are making me wish I had the time to do it. One of these days, oh one of these days.
ReplyDeleteNice Jeannie! My ex is a tattoo artist so I have been making tattoo quilts for years now. Probably 75% of my clients are tattoo folk =) One of these days I'll have to post all of my sewing tattoos lol
